Julian and Timo arrived on Monday and on Tuesday we started The Cutting Circle Research Project which runs for 1.5 weeks prior to the start of the symposium. Thanks to Global Fabrics for sponsoring our fabrics we were able to start experimenting right away. We have been borrowing each others techniques, teaching each other tricks and enbracing uncertainty now for 3 days and we have worked on a variety of garments and parts of garments - leggings, shirts, pants and tshirts. Tomorrow we are working on dresses and coats. The ultimate goal is to pass on what we find to the participants of The Cutting Circle symposium!
